In 2017 more than 50 independent producers from Alsace and Lorraine launched a brand of yogurts under the name A Güeter which means “Bon appétit! in Alsatian. We support the initiative at 1000% especially now that a local of our village of birth is part of the adventure.

A response to the dairy crisis

We are sure that you did not miss the news that dairy farmers are facing a dairy crisis. In response to this crisis, 50 producers decided to react by creating a brand, allowing them to master the entire production chain to the choice of distribution. We absolutely love the approach, which is, in our opinion, closer to the current philosophy of consumers, which is to appreciate more the local products coming from the short distribution.

In addition to being an excellent initiative, the A Güeter! Yogurt is delicious! We found the product in the fresh food aisle of a Leclerc store and decided to taste the raspberry flavoured one. It was a delightful discovery as we are addicted to good sweets.
