Sophisticated dishes at L’Adresse
We were so lucky to meet Mohammed, the manager of the new restaurant L’Adresse as well as Rodolphe, the chef. This beautiful address opened the 6th April on Orbey Street No 9, and here is why we love it!
Two personalities, two paths, the same goal
We loved chatting around a good steaming cup of tea at L’Adresse with Mohammed and Rodolphe, two personalities with different backgrounds.
- Mohammed has been managing the Mad’ina butcher shop for 8 years, situated on Aristide Briand No 8, which is increasingly successful due to the quality of the products offered. Indeed, you will find a selection of meat of French and Belgian origin. For Mohammed, local shops are very important, so he collaborates with many restaurants in Neudorf such as L’Aristide, Paco de Maria and Schutzenbock, to name but a few. In true passion and hard work, he wanted to open a restaurant that resembles him, friendly and warm. To achieve his dream he made room for Rodolphe Beuve in the kitchen
- Rodolphe with his 23 years of experience has a very impressive résumé! After an apprenticeship at the well-known Au Crocodile, he continued his studies with a professional diploma at the Cygne and spent two years at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Saint-Germain. Not being afraid of challenges, he left for 2 years in Los Angeles to discover the art of cooking on the other side of the Atlantic. A childhood friend of Mohammed’s younger brother, without any hesitation he accepted the challenge of being the chef of this new restaurant, in the neighborhood where he grow up.
L’Adresse a cozy place for every budget
This new 50-seater restaurant will offer a semi-gourmet menu with homemade dishes from A to Z, made up of local ingredients and of course with the best meat from the Mad’ina butcher shop.
The sole purpose of these two enthusiasts is to bring together all food lovers and offer menus at affordable prices. For lunch, you can choose from:
- The day’s menu entitled The Address of the day (Dish and dessert around 9 €)
- Different type of meat starting from 12 € with different side dishes to choose from.
Finally in the evening, the menu is more exquisite, with the same high quality meat. You will be able to taste the lamb shank (yummy!), or even the sea bass fillet.
Mohammed and Rodolphe wish to make affordable the high-end cuisine with L’Adresse and they met the challenge! The decoration is welcoming. We loved the private room which plunged us directly into the universe of a Moroccan riad. After a long discussion with these two enthusiasts, we can assure you that L’Adresse is the place to be. The restaurant is the perfect combo between homemade dishes, local products, and quality meats for reasonable prices !
