The origins: a bottle of Gin
Maybe you wonder why it is called Le Botaniste (the botanist)? We do. That’s why we did ask the question! As gin enthusiasts, the managers had some great one during a trip, called… You guessed it: The Botanist. Now you better understand why they offer 7 different kinds of gin. We do love it too, so no wonder we are so thankful about discovering this new place! 🙂
Le Botaniste, an extensive and creative menu
You absolutely NEED to try one of their (huge amount of) cocktails ASAP. The barman is a true alchemist, and you will get some for 7 to 9€. The restaurant menu change every 2 weeks, in order to guarantee fresh products. Coffee is from Le Panier du maraicher, to remain local. Unconsumed food from lunch is systematically used in dinner recipes in order to reduce food waste. The menu is very elaborated, you can feel that the managers do have a big thing for arts.
We will get back at Le Botaniste very soon for some gin-tastic before. We totally LOVE this place, all our gratitude goes to this passionate team.
